Before your appointment
Arrive with a clean face if possible—skip makeup or heavy skincare that morning.
Pause exfoliants (retinol, AHAs, BHAs, scrubs) for at least 3 days prior so your skin is calm and ready.
Avoid in-office treatments like peels, laser, or waxing on the face for 14 days before and after this service.
If you're using prescription skincare (like tretinoin), let your provider know so we can adjust the treatment accordingly.
Hydrate well and get good sleep—your skin shows everything!
After your appointment
No special recovery is needed, but for best results: avoid water, steam, or sweating for 4 hours.
Skip makeup for at least 12 hours.
Avoid exfoliating acids, retinoids, or scrubs for 48 hours.
Use gentle hydrating skincare and mineral SPF to maintain results.
Sleep on a clean pillowcase the night of your service.

This treatment is extremely low-risk. Mild pinkness or warmth may appear immediately after but typically resolves within a few hours. Clients with very sensitive or excessively dry skin may experience tightness or light flaking. Rarely, minor breakouts can occur due to increased cell turnover or purging. Abrasion lines are possible for certain sensitive skin types.
